I have decided to write this post because ,since living in Vietnam and traveling a bit, I have noticed that there are certain beauty products that I just can't live without. I am by no means a beauty freak ,but I still like to look after my skin and my body.  The weather and altitude is different in different countries and so this has a great effect on your skin and body. A gorgeous Nature Reserve situated in the Cradle of Humankind. Upon arrival one is greeted by magical sable, zebra, water hog and many other exquisite animals . The beauty of African wildlife is bought right into your view. The Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve is home to more than 30 different types of species. These are viewable by private car or guided game drives. The Nature Reserve offers many services and fun experiences including accommodation, restaurants and the Wonder Cave. They also have enclosures that are home to cheetahs, lions and wild dog. One can drive into these enclosures and view the game in their natural habitats. On certain days and at certain times they have a feeding period and one can go in and witness the feeding of the animals. Another addition to there reserve is the Animal Crèche, where you can view infant animals. In some of these enclosures at the Animal Crèche you can go in and play with the animals....

Purple is my favourite colour and so I decided to take a look deeper into its history and meaning. I find Purple magical because it is a colour with many different dimensions. From lavender which has a felling of calm and precious to a rich, dark purple which is deep and mysterious. Purple is very rare in nature and ,hence is seen as a sacred colour. The first extracts of Purple came from shellfish so therefore it was hugely expensive to create. In the olden days only the rich could afford to extract the colour ,it then became colour that only the most royal garments where made out of. This is how Purple came to symbolize power and royalty. Purple is a combination of the calm and stable blue and the warm and fiery red, this allows it to posses both cool and warm properties. As, I'm sure, you have noticed, I am not much of a make-up freak. I enjoy putting on a simple face of make-up and heading on my way. However, with all these gorgeous products from Essence Cosmetics I cant help but try them out and experiment. If you are new to contouring like me, then this is your palette to buy. The colours are gentle and there is a cute little step-by-step guide on the back of the packaging to help you with your look. The palette is only R 76.95 from Dischem and contains a bronzer, a highlighter and a blush. The product applied very well onto my skin and gives a matte finish. I did ,however, apply more than one layer of each powder to my skin to get that effective contour look. I also added Essence Silky Touch Blush over the blush in the palette in order to get a more rosy look., but this is subject to your own preference.
