Image
Just over 6 months ago I posted my Travel Bucket List, however I have since ticked some items off my list and obviously the list has expanded. I was fortunate enough to go on Contiki last year and that is where some of my list was experienced. Below is my Updated Travel Bucket List: See the Northern Lights. A canopy tour in Costa Rica. Visit the Grand Canyon. Go to the Rio Carnival in Brazil. Go to an Ice Hotel. View Victoria Falls, in Zimbabwe. Take a look inside the Colloseum This was such an incredible experience, one I will remember forever. I immediately fell in love with this building as soon as I stepped inside. Travel on the overseas highway, the Florida Keys. Join in the fun at the Tomato Festival in Spain. Kiss someone under the Eiffel Tower. See a Broadway musical in New York City. Ride along the canals of Venice in a Gondola. Definitely a memory for the books. It amazing to see a city by travelling around through its canals on

More Beer??....Germany

The time I spent in Germany was one of great experience, as well as an eye opener. I visited Munich and the Rhine Valley. I spent my first day cycling around Munich, in the rain. I think the addition of rain made the whole experience that much more exciting. Munich is a beautiful city filled with spectacular architecture. This was the one destination I wish I had more time in and will definitely go back and explore in the future. Dinner that night was quite an experience, I had a whole pork Knuckle. It was actually a very delicious dish but I have tried it once, and I think once is enough. We then hit the streets to visit the Hofbrauhaus. We spent the night having a blast with very high quality beer by our side. On the way to the Rhine Valley, we stopped at th Dachau Concentration Camp. This was definitely an

Driving along the French country side we stumbled upon the Chateaux Fountainebleau which was a sovereign residency for eight centuries and later apartments where built on one wing for guests. Its beauty is undeniable and it is situated in the gorgeous, quaint, little town of Fountainebleau. Another treat was visiting a French Perfumery along the way. We went on a tour through the perfumery and learnt a few tips and tricks. Tip: the best place to spray your perfume is on your wrists, because it ensures the scent is long-lasting. I smelt the most amazing array of different scents and learnt a wealth of knowledge about perfumes. We stayed about a 5 minutes away from the beach, so as soon as we got there we stopped at a supermarket and got a picnic together and spend the whole evening on the beach. The sea is absolutely magical because it is so clear and has no waves. I am amazed how late the sun goes down in summer in Europe, and therefore 8pm is the best
