Moyo Restaurant , Melrose Arch

An African experience that every South African and tourist must endure. Situated in the gorgeous Melrose Arch, is the amazing Moyo Resturant. It is centred around an African theme ,from the decor to the food to the outfits of the waiters. My family from Dubai came to visit and they wanted to add some African culture to their trip so we decided to put Moyo on our Itinerary. When walking in you get an amazing African feeling, the waiters greet you and there is a cultural feeling in the air. Once seated, a waiter comes to your table and washes your hands the traditional way, with a bowl of water and a cloth. The menu is filled with some interesting, yet delicious dishes. The menu has a range of different cuisines from around Africa. One can have the more cultural dishes or simply stick to the more well known dishes, both of which are presented and taste absolutely exquisite. For my main meal, I had their signature dish the 'moyo flamed fillet', which was pure perfe

The High-Waisted Look

Image
The South African mornings and nights are starting to become a little chilly so planning an outfit for the day can become a bit tricky. For this look, I have paired a light crop top with high-waisted, three quarter pants. The pants add a little bit more of a warmer feel to the outfit ,incase you get colder in the evening. High-waisted pants have come back into fashion and are rocking the runways all over the world.  This look is a great way to wear Gypsy-Style high waisted pants. If the day gets a bit colder, then just slip on a kimono for a little warmth. In this type of weather, I find kimonos a great addition to my wardrobe. They are light but at the same time keep you warm enough.
