I could help but do a photo gallery post of Hoi An because it is just filled with so much beauty. A little boutique hotel nestled in the gorgeous town of Hoi An. Upon arrival we were greeted by an amazing Vietnamese lady who was by our side for the rest of our stay. She could speak English very well so it made it very easy if we needed any help. We did arrive before check-in time ,however our room was ready within 15 minutes of arrival. The room was absolutely lovely and very spacious. We were three people so it consisted of one huge double bed and one single bed. The room also included a lounge area and a balcony over-looking the gorgeous countryside of Hoi An. The bathroom was very clean and decorated with class. It included a shower, toilet and wash basin. We were very impressed abut the quality of the accommodation. We had a 3 night stay, and with this was a welcome dinner for the first night. It was a delicious and flavorsome traditional meal. Purple is my favourite colour and so I decided to take a look deeper into its history and meaning. I find Purple magical because it is a colour with many different dimensions. From lavender which has a felling of calm and precious to a rich, dark purple which is deep and mysterious. Purple is very rare in nature and ,hence is seen as a sacred colour. The first extracts of Purple came from shellfish so therefore it was hugely expensive to create. In the olden days only the rich could afford to extract the colour ,it then became colour that only the most royal garments where made out of. This is how Purple came to symbolize power and royalty. Purple is a combination of the calm and stable blue and the warm and fiery red, this allows it to posses both cool and warm properties.
