As most of you know, I had an amazing experience on a tour to Thailand in February. One of the stops was Khao Sok National Park. A place I had never heard of before. So, naturally, I looked to Google for some answers and the pictures I saw were something out of a dream. And it proved to be just that. We took a short drive from the train station to a very small port. There we got onto a long tailed boat and we traveled along a natural beauty. The lake is surrounded by beautiful lime stone mountains that are covered in a thick and dense jungle. The one fact that absolutely puzzled me, was that this lake was man-made. I still don't believe it, because it is massive and just so natural. We then stopped in a little lagoon and had a swim. It was so beautiful. The water was calm and just pure perfection. A little boutique hotel nestled in the gorgeous town of Hoi An. Upon arrival we were greeted by an amazing Vietnamese lady who was by our side for the rest of our stay. She could speak English very well so it made it very easy if we needed any help. We did arrive before check-in time ,however our room was ready within 15 minutes of arrival. The room was absolutely lovely and very spacious. We were three people so it consisted of one huge double bed and one single bed. The room also included a lounge area and a balcony over-looking the gorgeous countryside of Hoi An. The bathroom was very clean and decorated with class. It included a shower, toilet and wash basin. We were very impressed abut the quality of the accommodation. We had a 3 night stay, and with this was a welcome dinner for the first night. It was a delicious and flavorsome traditional meal.
