As Fresh As A Daisy

Daisies are a small white rounded flowers with a round yellow centre.
They are found in many parts of the world including Africa, Europe and North America.
The word 'Daisy' comes from an Old English word meaning the day's eye. They were given this name because they only open during the day.

Symbolism:
Daisies symbolize purity and innocence. This is seen from the whiteness of their flowers.
New Beginnings is also a symbolism of a daisy and this is why they are normally found in bouquets for new mothers or in gifts for children.
Each daisy flower is really two flowers blended together and therefore they symbolise true love. This is why we play the game 'He/She loves you, He/She loves you not' with daisy flowers.

Message:
A daisy sends a message of hope and renewal and tries to help someone see the world as they once did when they were a child.

Daises are my favourite flower because they are not only beautiful but they symbolise beauty. They remind us to stop being so serious and remember how to be a child again.
