Stellenbosch Vineyards and Bistro 13.

Stellenbosch has always been on my list of places to visit and I have finally managed to take a trip down here. Even though I have only spent a few days in the town, it has completely stolen my heart. The quirky street side cafe's , the stunning old buildings and the decor of each and every shop, creates an amazing vibe and atmosphere. It is a true gypsy town. During our visit we had an impromptu lunch at Bistro 13, in the Stellenbosch Vineyards. It is an intimate bistro alongside the vineyards, with a majestic dam view. When entering you are greeted by beautiful ducks in a pond, which leads into a gorgeous white and sparkly interrior. Of course being in a vineyard meant wine was defiantly on the table. Montecasino Bird Gardens

Good Morning Gypsies! I spent sometime this morning at the amazing Montecasino Bird Gardens and I enjoyed every minute. If you looking for a nice day out in nature, it is a wonderful place to relax and take in the beauty of our world.  The Bird Garden is home not only to many species of colourful birds, but also to mammals and reptiles. They have over 60 species of birds in a beautiful aviary. One is allowed to walk through the aviary and feed the birds. Some of these species include Pelicans, Macaws, Eagles and Flamingoes and many more. They also put on a very educational Flight of Fantasy show, which enlightens one to the intelligence and magical world of birds. If you do attend the show keep a look out for Savannah, the Northern Ground Hornhil.  I love watching birds. They make one feel so at peace with life and show an undeniable beauty that no one can explain. If you love birds, this is an awesome place for you to visit. After a long walk arou

I love anything with fringe and lace. I enjoy wearing balloon pants, maxi skirts and having flowers in my hair. My favourite prints are paisley and floral patterns. I am a true Gypsy at Heart and so my favourite thing to do is travel. I have been fortunate enough to travel to many places around the world including Mozambique, Mauritius, Dubai, Italy, Thailand ,London and Australia, and I do hope to visit more places in the future. The most rewarding holidays for me are beach holidays. Nothing is better than having the wind in your hair, sand on your feet and the feel of the sea on
