Recipe: My Chews

Image
This recipe is a huge crowd pleaser, everyone that has tasted it, just love's it. They are basically a play on a Florentine. Here is my very secret and very easy recipe for them: Ingredients 1 Tin Condensed Milk 3 cups Cornflakes 1/2 cup Sunflower seeds 1 cup Peanuts 1 cup Raisins 1/4 cup Poppy seeds (optional) Baking Utensils: Mixing Bowl Spoon Baking Tray Recipe Add all the dry ingredients to the bowl. Then pour the condensed milk so that it soaks up all the ingredients. Mix it all together with the spoon. Make sure the condensed milk is evenly spread.  Grease the baking tray with spray and cook. Place tablespoons of the mixture about 4 cm apart and bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 160 degrees. Be sure to check on the chews every few minutes, as different ovens can vary. Cool on a wire tray.  Once cooled, you can melt some chocolate in a double boiler and drizzle over the top with a fork. Let the chocolate harden and then

Outfit Of The Day Whenever I have a 'have nothing to wear' moment, this dress is my go to look. I love the pattern and ,of course, it is purple. It is a great outfit for a casual day look or even a night out with your friends. The shoes I have paired it with are more for going out to a special evening, but one can always pair it with slopes for a more casual look. These shoes are what I call 'A Gypsy Must Have'. They have the 'up the ankle' look ,but they also have a slight platform. They add a smarter look to a Gypsy's wardrobe. The Purple wrap is a Swarovski piece and it adds such a sparkle to this outfit. I hope this look brings out your inner Gypsy. Typo Lenses

Image
I have recently discovered the smart phone lenses that Typo have brought out. They are absolutely amazing lenses that you can attach to any smart phone and take artistic shots without the need of the new specialized cameras. I have two types of lenses. The first one is a fish eye lens, so it has a rounded effect. Almost like you looking at the photo through a fish's eye. It creates amazing shots of scenic views or very creative pictures of you and your friends. The second type of lens is a kaleidoscope. This lens can create very unusual but eye catching photo's. When taking pictures with this lens, I would recommend to take them of single object in order to get the full effect. Both of these lenses are so much fun to play around with and make beautiful creations. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Lots of Love

With the hot days and high temperatures, feeling comfortable and cool is a must. This look is definitely for a hot summers day. The Summer Gypsy look is one of my favourites because it is simple pieces put together to look fabulous. It is a great look for going to the beach or just for a daily fun outfit. The fringe top is a new addition to my wardrobe and it is definitely a must have for any gyspy.  If cowboy hats and head bands are not your favourite, then the outfit without them is also great.
